I went to the University of Delaware to earn my bachelor's degree in animal sciences on the pre-veterinary track, graduating with distinction. I also earned a Spanish minor. I then went on to the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill for my masters degree in molecular biology and genetics. I have five years of tutoring experience, and I've worked with students from the middle school level through the college level in areas like English, reading, Spanish, science, and math. In my experience, one of the biggest factors in students underachieving is a lack of confidence, so I focus on customizing my approach to match the learning style of each student to help them make progress efficiently. This help students get motivated to learn and improves their attitude towards learning.
